This Privacy Policy explains how Poise Strategy ("Poise", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you visit https://poisestrategy.com/ (the "Site"), complete the Interview Readiness Assessment ("Assessment"), and purchase the Poise Interview Readiness Pack (the "Product", priced at $19 USD as a one-time purchase).

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information transparently and securely, in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) / California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide the Product and improve the Site. We do not collect your name, precise address, physical characteristics, health information, photos, ID documents, or payment card details (payment is processed by our payment provider, Creem, on their secure platform).

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Assessment responses. When you complete the 12-question Assessment, we collect your answers, which cover:

  1. Interview scenario (e.g., first job, new role, career change, internship);
  2. Interview deadline;
  3. Interview format (in-person, video, mixed, uncertain);
  4. Country or region;
  5. Work environment;
  6. Biggest challenge;
  7. Current wardrobe status;
  8. Weekly time available for preparation;
  9. Budget range;
  10. Areas you want to improve;
  11. Things you want to avoid;
  12. Role background (open-text, up to 300 characters).

Delivery email. We collect the email address you provide ("delivery_email") for two purposes: (a) to deliver your Report and related communications, and (b) if you opt in, for marketing communications.

Marketing consent. We record whether you opted in to receive marketing communications ("marketing_consent"). This is a separate, voluntary choice — we do not send marketing emails to you unless you have explicitly consented.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Site, we automatically collect:

  1. UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) — to understand which marketing channel brought you to the Site, if any;
  2. Country code — derived from your Assessment answers;
  3. Timestamp — the date and time you submitted your Assessment ("created_at");
  4. Assessment reference — a unique random identifier (assessment_ref) generated by your browser to match your Assessment to your order;
  5. Basic technical data — through analytics tools, such as the pages you visit, device type, and approximate location, in aggregated form.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  1. To generate and deliver the Product. Your Assessment responses are used to create your personalized 10-page Report, which is delivered to your email within 48 hours of purchase confirmation.
  2. To process payments. Payment transactions are processed by Creem; we use the assessment reference to match payments to Assessments.
  3. To respond to your inquiries. If you contact us, we use your email address to respond.
  4. To send marketing communications (only with consent). If you opted in, we may send you occasional updates, tips, and offers. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 7).
  5. To improve the Site and Service. We analyze aggregated, anonymized data to understand how users interact with the Site and how we can improve the Assessment and the Report.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you, beyond generating the Report itself, which is a personalized document you requested.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your Assessment responses and related data are transmitted via SheetDB and stored in Google Sheets operated by us. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the Product, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data (see Section 7).

4. Third-Party Services (Data Sharing)

We share limited personal information with the following third-party service providers, strictly for the purposes described below. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.

  1. SheetDB (sheetdb.io) — We transmit your Assessment data (assessment_ref, answers_json, delivery_email, marketing_consent, UTM parameters, country_code, created_at) to SheetDB, which writes the data to our Google Sheets spreadsheet. This is how we store and retrieve your Assessment data.
  2. Google Sheets (Google LLC) — Your Assessment data is stored in a Google Sheets spreadsheet. Google's privacy policy applies to this storage.
  3. DeepSeek (Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence) — Your Assessment responses are sent to DeepSeek's API to generate the personalized content of your Report. This is an automated process; we send only the data needed to generate the Report.
  4. Creem (creem.io) — Creem processes your payment when you purchase the Product. Your payment card details are handled entirely by Creem; we never receive or store your card information. Creem shares limited order data with us (e.g., order status, assessment reference) so we can fulfill your order.
  5. Cloudflare — The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare Web Analytics may collect basic, aggregated usage data.

International transfers. Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. Where such transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required under the GDPR, to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.

5. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses minimal cookies and analytics:

  1. Session storage — we use browser session storage to temporarily hold your Assessment state and UTM parameters while you complete the Assessment. This data is not used for cross-site tracking.
  2. Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies to track users across sites. It collects aggregated data such as page views, referrers, and approximate geographic location.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies for behavioral advertising.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.

6. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing your personal information under the GDPR are:

  1. Performance of a contract — processing your Assessment data to generate and deliver the Report you purchased;
  2. Legitimate interests — improving the Site and Service, and preventing fraud;
  3. Consent — sending marketing communications (only where you have opted in);
  4. Legal obligation — where we must comply with applicable law.

You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

7. Your Rights

7.1 GDPR Rights (EEA / UK residents)

If you are located in the EEA or the UK, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  1. Right of access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  2. Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  3. Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your personal information;
  4. Right to restriction of processing — request that we limit how we process your data;
  5. Right to data portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
  6. Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  7. Right to withdraw consent — withdraw your marketing consent at any time;
  8. Right to lodge a complaint — complain to your local supervisory authority (e.g., your national Data Protection Authority).

7.2 CCPA / CPRA Rights (California residents)

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA grants you the following rights:

  1. Right to know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and the purposes for which they were collected or shared;
  2. Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions;
  3. Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  4. Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights;
  5. Right to opt out of sale/sharing — we do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may need to request additional information from you to verify your identity before processing your request.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site and the Product are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. 9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

  1. Delivering and supporting the Product;

When personal information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
